Rhonda Metelsky

Rhonda graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree, as a Political Science major at York University.  She then went on to the study of Law at the University of Ottawa and obtained her Baccalaureate of Laws in 1999.  She completed her Articles with the Ministry of the Attorney General, Criminal Law Division in 2000 and was called to the Ontario Bar in February 2001.  Rhonda practices in criminal law, family law, wills and estate administration.  She continues to provide community service by providing legal services to various community organizations and mentors high school and college students interested in pursuing a career in law.  She is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Criminal Law Association, the Durham Regional Law Association, the Advocates Society in Toronto, and the Ajax-Pickering Board of Trade.  Rhonda stays in shape by maintaining an active lifestyle and is presently training to be a Ginga Instrutor with her brother Ken Homer who is the creator of Ginga Fitness in Toronto.  Ginga Fitness is a blend of capoeira, a Brazilian martial art and dance to Latin and Afro-Caribbean music.
